I somehow came across this the other day...

It seems to be a unit that you plug your Dreamcast into, that in turn allows you to plug into a Jamma cabinet, using all of the existing arcade controls. It says that it even allows you to use Industry standard guns and steering wheels. Oh, proper functioning coin acceptors as well. This doesn't seem to be too much of a stretch of the imagination, being that the Dreamcast is based (I believe) on the Sega Naomi arcade platform.

Pricey, though: $250

Way too much for the casual Dreamcast players, but if your only 'Dream' is to get that bastard in a cabinet, this may do it. Unfortunately, I have no idea what this does to accomodate the analog controls/triggers, But if what it said is true about the industry standard guns/steering wheels... That's something I'd assume we'd never be able to get done on our own.

I didn't prod the company for any more info, as I'm not interested on purchasing one, but if somebody does talk with them, I'd sure we'd all like to hear more about it... For the hobbies sake!

-Mike
