SCART connections are quite rare on American TVs.
: I don't know about american tv systems but on all tv systems with a SCART connector it's quite easy to feed RBG to the TV. I used to have my old Amiga systems hooked up to a television using RGB. Image quality was great. The Amiga does have 15 Khz RGB signal though.
