Within windows is no problem, when people talk about emu support, they're talking DOS. Since you're going with Mame32 there should be no problem. I think there are a couple of standalone's and a few cabs that use sidewinders. Search around in the examples section (there is one that has Sidewinder in the title, you'll have to search a bit harder to find the rest)
