I guess $200+ for the conversion wouldn't be much compared to a 32" arcade monitor. You'd have to use software compatable with an arcade monitor(such as ArcadeOS) to use the modified TV though.

What the tech would have to do:

Find where RGB is used on your TV circuit as input

Install circuitry to bring the RGB signals to the same level as used inside your TV

Add some sort of switch or kill one of the extra inputs (such as composite in), because the new RGB inputs would conflict with whatever is comming in through the tuner.


: : If the repair man has the schematics for your TV, he should be able to add RGB to your TV. However, this will be very time consuming and probably run you at least $200, maybe more.

: Yeah, regardless if you have a big ass 32 inch, $200 for RGB isn't a bad deal considering what the monitor would cost you.
