I noticed that there are some 19" monitors that go for about $200 and some that go for a LOT more. Also, some are described as being medium-res or vga/svga. The s/vga models still can't really be used as a pc monitor due to the lower refresh rate, right? Can the standard res monitors display higher res. games properly/adequately?

How much do the monitors weigh/cost to ship?

: John,

: I always look at the Happs website as a reference. They have several to choose from and list their prices.

: Wells-Gardner is one of the best and many have used them in thier Mame cabinets.

: : I have been looking for an arcade monitor to replace my computer monitor. Can anyone make any suggestions as to a good type and how much I should expect to pay?

: : There has been one person on ebay that consistently sells monitors for about $200 (which is the same price the local arcade guy quoted). Any suggestions?
