Ah, on board sound is a major pain to work with sometimes. Best thing I could recommend is to find the motherboard makers web site and see if they have a FAQ on sound in DOS or even send them a e-mail explaining your problem. Is this a newer PC or a older one? I had Win 98 on my arcade PC at first but I think it bogged it down too much so I took it back down to Win 95. It's a 233MMX with 64 megs of ram. With Win 95 it just flys. But like I said before I have it boot into DOS and just use Win 95 to make adjustments with emu's and other stuff. If this is a stand alone PC just for emu's you might want to keep that in mind. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hope you get it worked out. Game On!

: : OK, first what type of soundcard are you using?
: The soundcard I'm using is built into the mother board, so thats been giving me alot of trouble trying to get sound.

: :Are you using Win 95 or 98?
: '98
