Hi. Just wanted to let you know I'm using the MAME 36 (final) in DOS and haven't had any problems mapping keys for my control panel. You didn't mention which version you were using. Are you using a optimized version or just the basic final? Sorry about your troubles but it's working fine on this end. Good luck. Game On!
: Anyone else having problems remapping keys in Mame under the "input (this game)" option? I have an 8 button generic joypad.When I go into this option to remap, it won't accept it. Example: If I want to change button 1 in the game to button # 7 on my joypad, it just won't accept it. It use to with older versions of Mame until .36 final. Am I the only one with this problem????
