I connected the monitor to the original transformer that was in the cab when I got it. Many older monitors need an isolation transformer.

Connect the monitor to the video card using a standard video cable and use pins 1,2,3,5,13,14

they R red,green,blue,ground,hsync and vsync.

I have all the details on my web page at the link at the bottom of this page.

: I plan to use the arcade monitor that's in my cockatil machine with MAME and wire it up to the PC myself. How do I power it though? Do I need to use a separate power supply for the monitor, and the PC power supply for just the PC stuff, or can I utilize the PC power supply to power the arcade monitor as well? Also...can anyone give me some advice/helpful hints when wiring up the arcade monitor interface to the video card? Or any other advice at all about using an arcade monitor in a MAME machine? Thanks.
