Those guys are right The Ke series of encoders are the best but If money is an issue do a Sidewinder hack as it is almost as good and a lot cheaper I have seen Sidwinders for less then $19 bucks and provides 14 inputs and you can daisychain more then one. Todays keyboards are very hard to hack. The old microswitch keyboards are easy if you have one around. To buy a microswitch keyboard is excpensive and hard to find.
