MAME on Iopener?

Wired and Slashdot reported a hack enabling Linux and other OSes on the IOpener net-appliance.
It uses a WinChip C6 180 MHz, which I know nothing about. Pentium compatible?
Will this run MAME? Someone with skills could turn it into a MAMEBoy!
