: I'd think that you would have wanted to cut the plexiglass just slightly larger than the control panel (maybe 1mm on each side), round the edges slightly with a file, sand it very smooth with finishing sand paper, then use a buffing wheel and some compound to polish up the edges. This should make the edges a nice and round and smooth.

Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have cut it the same size already. I told myself that if I messed up the plexi that I would just buy another piece and try again. The cab is 90% finished so what is one more day of working on the plexi . Thanks for the ideas...
