: I am almost finished with my cab. I just put my control panel together (formica over 5/8" birch) and I am having problems figuring out what to do with the duraplex. I put 1/8" (???) duraplex over it and cut the edges with a router so the duraplex is exactly the same size as the control panel. Now what? The edges are a little sharp. I don't know if I should use a file and just smooth them up a little, use a router bit (I have one that puts a 25 degree angle on an edge) to bevel the edge, etc. Any ideas for me out there?

: (Don't most control panels have plexiglass that goes all the way to the edge?)

I'd think that you would have wanted to cut the plexiglass just slightly larger than the control panel (maybe 1mm on each side), round the edges slightly with a file, sand it very smooth with finishing sand paper, then use a buffing wheel and some compound to polish up the edges. This should make the edges a nice and round and smooth.
