Hey Exph,

First off, I really didn't mean to sound "negative" about the U3100 at all. I know that the people who do use it really dig it, and I'm sure that it is a great piece of hardware. I just know that it wasn't the route that *I* wanted to go down. Maybe I should rephrase it a bit, huh? The big points that I wanted to make were:
1. I wanted to make sure that I got a monitor that looked good in Windows - one that wasn't for arcade use only. Yes, I know that the WG's will display in Windows to a degree, but I wanted a monitor that looked *good* in Windows.
2. I'm too big of a freakin' clod to try to mount a "chassis-less" monitor into a cabinet that I build myself.

I didn't know that the U3100 used a regular VGA plug! I said that based on what I *thought* I had read in various posts here on the Message Board, but wow, that's a pretty serious error on my part if that's the case. So you can plug the U3100 right into the back of a normal video card? That's kooky.

Thanks for lettin' me know!
J-
