: Since YokeCraft is no long selling Twisty Grip spinner guts and the spinner they are selling is mounted on 1/8" metal (can't remove and put on arcade panel), it would be nice if they would sell just a parts kit. Ya know, to include all those little parts that you have to get from all over the place. Not to mention that they didn't have any suggestion as to where to get some of the parts. It wouldn't need to include the mouse or the enclosure, just the hard to find littl parts, like the aluminum spacers. I really don't need 100 aluminum spacers and don't want to spend $42 + s/h on them. Since TwistyGrip is buying this stuff in bulk, they could easily put together little do it yourself kits.

: I wish I had bought the spinner guts when I had the chance. Now I'm searching all over the web for these parts. It'll probably cost me $100 to buy all these things (considering minimum quatities and minimum dollar amounts).

: Has anyone built this spinner yet? Where did you get all the parts? Anyone interested in putting together kits like this? I'd take a couple.

: Also, how does the brass sleeve and potentiometer housing onto the spinner? I don't understand that part of the instructions.

: To TwistyGrip: Thanks for posting the instructions!

- I built a Twisty Grip spinner using their instructions. You can see it in Brian's Arcade joystick in the stand alone controlers examples. I found all the parts I needed at Home Depot. Go to the Fasteners section and that's where they all are. You don't need to buy 100 spacers. I just bought two. They aren't threaded so you need to find some other way of fastening them togeather. I tapped them and used a set screw to hold them togeather. I didn't use a potentiometer to build it though. You don't need to do it that way. I just made the aluminum spacers and washer assembly, then hacked up a $8 mouse and put it togeather. I couldn't find a knob that I wanted and I didn't want to buy one so I made it on the lathe out of 1.75 diameter aluminum bar stock. It works really well and I'm really glad that Twisty Grip posted the instructions. Thanks again Twisty Grip!!!

Game On!!! Brian
