>>>Here' my questions for the experts:

I don't claim to be an expert in this area, but we have some guys here at Hanaho
that a pretty good in this stuff. :)

>>>1) The only 25/26/27 inch monitors in the Happ catalog do 640x480 MAXIMUM.
Are there any 25" range monitors that go up to 800x600? If you can recommend a
company/model, thanks!

Yes, the Wells Gardner Series U3100 does up to 1024x768. We have 2 types of
monitors here.. The
Sharper Image monitors (which had a horrible failure rate at the E3 show) and the
WG. Looks like the WG u3100 will be going into the ArcadePC mini cabinets we
make.

>>>2) If a monitor does 640x480, can it also do lesser resolutions like 400x300,
512x384 etc.?

humm.. don't know this one.

>>>3) With arcade monitors, is there a way to change the screen size and
placement without going inside the cabinet? Do they come with controls that can be
located elsewhere?

The Sharper Image monitors had a little remote PCB board with some
potentiometers for these adjustments, but it might be hard to month this
somewhere you can get to it outside.. I'm unsure about the WG series.

>>>4) If a signal beyond a monitors scan range (say 100hz to a 70hz max screen)
will it
blow the tube? Or just not be displayed correctly? Running a PC on a limited scan
range monitor, I can see this happening one day by accident...

One of my technicians here say it won't blow the tube, but will do serious damage to
the chassy.

Sorry I couldn't of been more help..
