I feel that any hand-held trackball is not good for arcade classics. I prefer one that has a larger trackball. Furthermore, one hand should be strictly used for trackball rolling and the other for pressing buttons. A hand-held needs to be held, so you'd have to awkwardly press buttons w/fingertips. I don't even use my trackball's buttons--I use Happs' buttons.

The only situation I could see a hand-held being good is for a laptop.

By the way, I have a Kensington Expert Mouse 5.0. It's an expensive trackball but it's very arcade-like to me and I like to use it with Links LS Golf and regular Windows apps.

Just my opinion!
