Here is a pinout page that I found with a description
of the test and tilt functions etc.
It may be possible that the game dosn't require
-5V to run, just +5V ,+12, and GND.

: I am getting an R-Type pcb next week. Upon reading
: the KLOV, I found this scripture, straight from the
: KLOV:

:
: Technical

: Strange, that while the PCB for R-Type says JAMMA on it, it is not a game that can be simply
: swapped with another JAMMA board. This game has no -5V pinout on the edge connector, nor
: does it have the test and tilt pinouts of a true JAMMA connector. Also, nowhere in the manual is the
: word JAMMA mentioned.

: Can anyone help me understand what exactly this means?
: I have checked a number of r-type/pcb sites looking
: for an info on this or about this statement, and
: have found nothing. What is the -5V for that the KLOV
: states that the board doesn't have. Or even the Test,
: Tilt pinouts? Thanks for any direction.
