Possible Pac Man / Ms. Pac Man side art decals -- and a question...

Hello All:

I may be in the position with someone to develop a side art decals used for restoring PacMan / Ms. PacMan arcade games. I have two questions, though:

1) Is there a lot of demand for this? Would people here be willing to buy them?
2) Is there a legality issue here? Is there a copyright on side art?

Please let me know, as I really would like to go ahead with this. (I'd also like to restore mine) :)
