Wico ball handle on a Happs super?

This might be silly to ask, but I'd really like to have a red ball handle joystick. I've got 2 of the Happs supers and love the way the movement feels. I'm just wondering if the red ball handle from a Wico will work in a Happs super.

I've seen the site where the guy used a wood ball and custom made one. I'm just not sure if I want to do that or not.

Any other ideas on the subject?
