How to use 2 mice for 2 players ?

I try to find a solution to use 2 mice (in fact 2 trackballs) connected one on the serial plug, and the other on the PS 2 plug in a two players game such as Marble Madness.
Of course, each mice must be independant, wich is not the case in MAME for Win 95/98.
I read something about a solution using Opti-mame, but couldn't find the link ...
