Question about Happ USB (UGCI) and Super 8 joystick

I am considering the Happ USB Interface for my Controller/cabinet project. Has anyone used one of these ? How would one implement the Coin/Bill Counters and select buttons available? Happ says these interfaces have to be read by the software application, would it be possible to just connect them as extra buttons?? Has anyone tried?

Also, since the wiring harness for the UGCI has wires that have no connector, What kind of quick connect would I be able to use to connect to the Super 8 Microswitches??? Does anyone have quick connects hooked to their Super-8's or do you just solder directly??
