The adapter works with a few idosynchrosies that won't bother you too much if you're building a dedicated cabinet.

* The VGA pass-thru will only really pass-thru 640x480x60hz to the computer monitor. Other resolutions come out dimmed or scrambled. I'm probably going to invest in a VGA splitter and send one signal to my monitor and another to the adapter. I also have no idea what the long-term problems are of keeping the adapter hooked up all the time and passing it resolutions other than 640x480x60hz so I'll probably unhook the VGA feed to it when it is not in use.

* When I quit Connectix VGS (the PlayStation emulator) for Macintosh, it sets my res to 640x480x67hz (that's sixty-seven, not sixty), making the splitter's video throw fits. This is a software issue I think I can address by registering Multi-Resolutions (the shareware that allows my Mac to do the "illegal" resolution).
