yes, if it is digital you have to hook it to the cross pad (+). If its anolog you hook it a potentiometer based analog will be easier to convert, all you will need to change
Does it matter if the steering wheel is analog or digital?
to the stick on the DC, I'm not sure about PSX as it has 2 sticks.
