Another mouse emulation question

I want to use a mouse x-axis in place of left and right keyboard keys.

I tried joyemu, and it's good, except for one problem:
TheTwistygrip Spinner (I have an old model) goes left when you spin right, and vice/versa. Also, they tore off every other spoke in the encoder wheel. I need a similar program that can
1. Reverse mouse axis lr/rl
2. Increase sensitivity

Basically I am trying to make Tempest 2000 (DOS)compatible with any mouse/spinner assembly, not just the Wingman Warrior.

(PS, it has to be rebooted in pure DOS mode, since the sound setup is wacky and doesn't work with any Widnws sound drivers).
