I just bought a ati expert 99(rage 128) so I could play games like smashtv and mortal kombat full screen with 16 bit colour. It works great with optimame except these games run at about 1/2 the speed they do on my computer monitor or when I use a 256 colour screen.
Does anyone else have this problem? BTW, it's not just williams games, I had the same problem with pacmania.
I'm using a celeron 300a running at 450. I wonder if it's because the expert 99 only has 8 megs of ram.
