I reciently purchased a Qtronix USB Keyboard. I thought that if I hack a usb keyboard with built in PS2 port I could avoid the need for a keyboard splitter. I took apart the keyboard and found that the keyboard consisted of a Mylar circuit board that went into a slot simalar to what you would find on the motherboard of a computer to slide a Modem Card into. This is not what I expected. I thought I would have something to soider to. It looks to me like the only way to connect to this is to slide the 26 wires into the slot and hope they do not come out. I am sure others have experienced this because I found a picture simaler to what I experienced at http://www.arcadecontrols.speedhost.com/arcade_brian.html.
To sum it up, I am not sure how to connect the wires to the keyboard. Any help would be appreciated along with any information on the key Matrix for the qtronix keyboard. If I am sucessful in building the Joystick, I promise to take and send pictures along with the Matrix when I am finished.
