Actually a PC power supply has 4 wires. They are +12vdc -12vdc +5vdc and -5vdc. So find the 5vdc wire and you are all set. Many devices like hard drives are actually marked so you can tell en apart.
: : Sure, you could. I just spliced the cable on one of the extra HD connectors though. I'd rather keep things off the MB as much as possible.
