Definetly the i686 MAME with arcadeOS in straight DOS... You wont get much faster than that. 128mb RAM will get you at peak efficiency.

: I have a p200 MMX with 80 mg RAM and a Matrox Millenium which I'm using for my cabinet, running in Win 98. What mame and/or front end should I use for maximum speed? ArcadeOS and pmame in Dos mode?
