The Pentium has a bigger chache than the Celeron, which'll help you out if you're running programs that are TOTAL resource pigs (like Photoshop), but for the most part, the Celeron is a great chip. As far as benchmarking goes, the Pentium barely eeks by the Celeron for chips running at the same MHz speed. Check out this link:
