: Okay, I bought all new wood working supplies, I had to look really hard to find a 1 1/8" hole saw, but I found one. However I dont want to hook it up to my drill wrong. How does it work? It has a big hole in it, so I'm assuming I place an ordinary drill bit through it. If not am I supposed to have a special hole saw attachment? Thanks
Is the big hole on the hole saw threaded? If so then you need an arbor to put through it, not an ordinary drill bit. There are a coouple of different sized arbors so you need to make sure you get the right one. They are probably on the same display that you found the hole saw on. Go to Home Depot or Lowe's, they should defeniately stock 1 1/8" hole saws and arbor for them. Hope this helps.
