Well to answer your question... A Celeron is a PII just with less cache. In mame, both will perform the same... and the differences, if any will be unnoticeable. (In reality the speed difference between a 200 Mhz chip and a 350 mhz chip is only about 5%, so you can imagine the difference between a 233 and 300) I'd use the Celeron, being the cheaper chip, and use the PII for another application.

: one is the celeron 300A and the other is a genuine intel PII-233.
: I already have both of these CPU's, so I want to use one of them.(I can't use a faster one anyway as my motherboard only has LX chipset and won't support above 300mhz).
: rather than try and benchmark the two with mame (I don't know how one would do this) Does anyone know which of the above CPU's to use.
