Well, I'm getting sick of not be able to use my 3d video card and the arcade monitor, running windows. So, I decided to make a little search for an utility that can adjust the display properties, so they can be handled by an arcade monitor.

As I understand, arcade monitors are supposed to be used with lower resolutions (3xx X 2xx or something near), at a 15Khz horizontal scan rate and 60 Hz refresh rate (vertical). In some cases it works under 640x480 but at 30Hz (v).

That's what I understand. I can be wrong or close to reality, but that's what I've been looking for.

I think that this little thingie http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm (Power Strip) can do the trick, but with a lot of tweaking. Can the regular posters give it a try? Imagine how cool can be playing some win2ze stuff in the cabinet... of course this doesn't apply to newly made arcade monitors that supports vga directly.

Thanks for the patience.. maybe we're close to something big. (I hope so!)

Seeya
