Yes, you place an ordinary drill bit in the saw. Don't forget to tighten the drill bit securely. Usually there is a screw in the saw's shaft that will clamp down on the bit.

: : Okay, I bought all new wood working supplies, I had to look really hard to find a 1 1/8" hole saw, but I found one. However I dont want to hook it up to my drill wrong. How does it work? It has a big hole in it, so I'm assuming I place an ordinary drill bit through it. If not am I supposed to have a special hole saw attachment? Thanks
