You obviously haven't used a hole saw. Hole saws have a mandrel that makes them extremely accurate. Once the pilot bit from the mandrel dents the material, you can make a 1.125" hole blindfolded with your are tied behind your back.

: : Sorry, I can't remember the size of the bit needed to drill button hole's on the cab. Also, any recomendations for a good smooth cutting kind of bit. Thanks

: You need a 1 1/8" bit. You can get a spade bit for a few bucks but if you want a much better one get a woodeater. It is like a spade bit but mmmuuuuuucccchhh better. But they are not cheap....probably around $15-20 for a good namebrand like Lennox or Greenlee. Avoid holesaw bits as they will not be as accurate.
