I also am using a 25" monitor at home - but only for horizontal games. An arcade monitor is usually limited in the vertical size (something like 240, where ms pacman & most vertical games use 288 as a vertical height. They are not like computer monitors that have different resolutions. That's why the screen cuts off. Unfortunately, I don't think you are going to achieve what you want. For me, I built two - one for vertical games and one for horizontal games. (The vertical games have the monitor rotated 90 degrees)
