Really, nothing personal. If I were looking for all the ROMS and didn't want to download them all I'd probably ask to. But please read MAME's discaimer. Check why you can not download multiple ROMS in one zip file. This is the precise reason why Retrocade stopped packaging all ROMS in one big zip. The MAME team has no control over the newsgroups or ICQ. But they do have some control over the web pages that post them.
Again, let me stress I'm not ripping on ya or personally care that you copy ROMS for free, but with you selling a product and giving it away at request with the product, you may be endangering the MAME project and the availability of roms. What makes it wrong is you are only supposed to download the ROMS you are licensed to own (because you know EVERYONE follows that religiously).

: : no offense but I wouldn't have posted this on the message board. The MAME agreement specifically warns against putting all ROMS on a CD and especially while packaged with the emulator. I'm sure this does happen all the time, but let's not publicize the fact.
: Firstly, its never packaged with the emulator, and its not for sale. All the newsgroups and message sites post countless lists of sites to download all the ROMS and hold no shame in doing so. Does the fact that it takes a lot of time to do so, as opposed to getting a CD all at once make it any more OK?
