I had this same problem, The good news is I got everything I needed from home depot... I dont know if you have those where you live, but I'm sure you have someting similar. I had to replace both of the entire sides with oak plywood. You may not have to do this. To fix minor corner problems the easiest way to go is to sand down the problem area and then glue a replacement piece into place... This isnt the most sturdy way to go, but it prevents having to buy expensive tools to to make a mider joint. To strip the paint, I asked the hardware store person. He showed me this (I dont remember the name) it was a glue and tape thingy... Basically you put this paint thinner glue on the cabinet, then you put the tape on like wallpaper. Let it dry, and then pull the tape off. All the paint comes with it, and the wood is undamaged. I hope this helps.

: Yes, after looking for 3 months I have finally purchased a jamma cabinet for my mame machine. It was an old X-Men 4-player with a 25" monitor that has been converted to a 2-player Street Fighter. The seller pulled the SFighter PCB, marquee, etc and sent me on my way. Now that I have the thing at home I am having a hard time deciding where to start but I know the first thing I should do is to strip off the paint and do some wood repair (it is really bad or missing in quite a few places). What have you guys been using to do this (strip paint) and to repair corners that are missing? Thanks for any help you can give me!
