Where can I buy a PowerRamp from?

I need to know whether PowerRamps are available in any retail outlets in the U.S.

My father is over in your wonderful country (from Australia) in about 5 weeks and I'd like him to bring back a couple for me to tinker with.

If they can't be bought in a shop I will have to order from the ActLabs website - how long would it take them to fill the order and deliver inside the U.S?

Also, has anyone looked at the possibility of 'ripping off' the design of the PowerRamp? Surely there must be someone that could reproduce the circuitry for less than the cost of an encoder!!

I'd be interested to see some healthy discussion on that point.
