I'd go with 2 if ya can. Some games need 2 as the coin slots correspond to the player#. Also, some older games don't use 2 slots.... in that case only the first one works. This is of course if you hook them up to be slot 1 and slot 2 and not both as slot 1. The nice thing about 2 slots is that some games default to having the 2nd slot be more than 1 credit when you insert a coin. This way I don't have to sit there and plunk in a ton of quarters. (I suk at a lot of games so a quarter doesn't last long) :)

: I called Happ controls to ask a few serious questions about coin mechs and Joysticks, while they were generally helpfull, everyone I spoke too snickered when I told them I was building a custom cabinet, has anyone else had this problem? I figured that the emulator industry is so large that they must get orders like this all the time?

: Now on to my question...

: I have decided to put a working brass token coin mech in my cabinet, rather than a FREE play button, this allows me to control its use.. (I have children, I'm sure you understand)
: However, I'm torn between a two slot door, or a one slot door. One slot would save me money, but two would look a lot more realistic. I am so stuck that I would like your opinions, especially if you know of games that will only work correctly with two coin slots.
