I believe the U3100 has a 22Mhz video bandwidth, which is quite small. My PC monitor does 220Mhz. I'm not exactly sure what this does, but I believe this limits the number of colors each pixel can be. For example, the U3100 has trouble display 16-bit color images with lots of gradients. Please correct me if I am wrong here.
