I'm using a k6-2 400 in my cabinet and it handles everything pretty well. Once in a while there is a dropped frame or 2 in the big neogeos (lb2, kof98), and the games that dog any machine dog this one too (MK, F1gpstar). Impact looks a bit like the matrix though, but performance on my PII-350 desktop is almost identical.
: Need to know what type of CPU works best for Mame. Am considering K6-2 450 or K6-3 450 currently. Do the AMD's perform any better/worse than a Celeron? How about any differences between the K6-2/3?
: Would prefer to go K6-2/3 instead of Celeron because the motherboards/processors are cheaper.
