I believe I figured it out. I can't believe how
stupid this might seem. 1. I execute Arcadeos
through a Dos box. 2. Play mame, then exit to
the Mame directory(still in Arcadeos). 3. Now,
in the past, when I want to exit out of Arcadeos,
I would always click my knob on my data transfer
switch box to use my vga monitor(still following?)
What would then be on my vga monitor is what was
left on the arcade monitor.(dos box of arcadeos)Now,
finally what I would do to close everything out,
was to click the right hand corner of this dos box.
You then get the normal propmt about the proper
way to shutdown this app(or something like that),
and that all info will not be saved. blah..blah.
This is how I did it in the past, no problem. Now,
after experimenting, I am finding out that if
I shut down in the above manner, my cpu stays at 110%
usage and my computer is very "doggy". But, when
I exit out of arcadeos(through arcadeos. .you know,
the last selection in the menu.) The cpu problem
is no more :). Kind of stupid huh? This never
happened in previous versions of Arcadeos, so
I wonder if some different code is in there now,
or perhaps left in, that was not there before?
Let me know if this sounds right to you? Thanks again
guy's!
