Yep finally got hold of my funky cabinet to convert into a PC Arcade/Jamma machine..

It is a Sega Swing cabinet, you can either sit down, or stand up to play games.. It truly is a versitle cabinet.

Firstly it was too big to get it through the front door of my house (yes its fairly big), but the beauty of this cabinet (not sure how many do this), the monitor can actually disconnect from the base unit!! and the control pannel comes off too, so if your door width is a minimum 31" wide and you want a big cabinet then this be the baby!!

The control panel on my machine came with 2joysticks/5buttons, however there is also special covers which when removed turn the control panel into a 4 player 3button cabinet..

Easy to make multiple control panels as the base part is already there, just only need one sheet of metal the right size for the top to make your different units..

The monitor is a 25" 15khz/25khz monitor, I haven't figured out how to change it to med res yet.. (so I have my doubts here, waiting for the supplier I bought it off)

It has pre-installed stereo speakers on each side of the monitor, the whole front end of the monitor area opens up like a car bonnet, allowing access to various tweaking, brightness/sharpness/R,G,B colour, width/height/position. Replacing the monitor would be easy too as the whole monitor section comes out from its casing. Behind the coin door, is deguass button!! I don't know how many arcade monitors actually had the abilty to degauss! Picture quality is absolutley fantastic compared to my WG K7000 19", this is a Mitsubishi.

The bottom opens up for Jamma boards, there is enough room down there to fit a PC motherboard etc.

Its fairly easy to move around, comes on a trolley section, very robust.. so moving it around is like moving a shopping trolly.

This is a fairly modern cabinet, compared to wooden ones, but I'd recommend this type of cabinet, having both a wooden one and this one..

I'll post pictures when I get a new digital camera..

If you live in the UK and want to know where I got it from, e-mail me and I'll let you know.. (I believe they be imported from Japan, mine came with a yen coin inside!)
