Ah, ok. Installed and tested it. It remaps the left
alt key fine. The right alt key it does not.

Specifically, it won't remap:

Right alt, right ctrl, right Windows, right context,
the 4 arrow keys in the .:. pattern, and the
insert/home/etc above them.

Looks great for HotRod though! Going into tonight's
update for download.

: According to the PC-Magazine article from the 5/6/97

: swapping the alt key? Do I have an older version?

: Thanks!

: : For anybody who is using the Hotrod for games that don't remap well, or have conflicts, such as Bleem!, Mortal Kombat, or Rollemup (a German pinball game I came across), I highly recommend the program ZDKeyMap. It's freely downloadable from the Web, and enables you to change just about any key to any other one, even ones like alt and enter. It's great because it actually changes the layout within the keyboard control panel. This is good, because some of the other remappable progams work on top of windows, and have to be running to work. Some games, especially Rollemup, preempt the remapping. This program doesn't seem to be able to save different configurations, but if you write them down, you can set them up in a minute or so.
