: Whats the proper way to cut an even groove in wood for T-molding to fit in?

: I am very new and I don't know what to do here, like what tool to use and how to get a flush fit.

: Can someone give me some advice?

: Thanks

The ONLY way to do this properly and neatly is with a router. The bit you will need is called a 1/16" slotting cutter. It looks something like a fan blade. Have the piece of wood you want to use laying a flat and held secure with c-clamps so it cannot move. I would reccommend practicing on a few scrap pieces first to get the hang of it and get the exact depth you need. I have seen people reccommend a dremel tool before.....I would not reccommend this.
