HEY! That's quite a collector's piece. Consider restoration, please?

Heck, you could probably even sell it for a nice profit once its working. That will help you finance the MAME machine of your dreams!

I know you'd find a LOT of interested takers on rec.games.video.arcade.collecting!

Good luck with whatever project you undertake.

: Well, this sure helps me out a LOT! Friend at work has a Dragon's Lair cabinet he doesn't want and is selling it for $100!!! He said it worked great until about a year ago (needs center piece that the laserdisk sits on). Unfortunately, we need to wait until spring to move it.

: Anyway, since this whole cabinet with monitor (he said monitor has great picture and colors) is going to cost quite a bit less than the monitor I was going to get for my "home-built" cabinet, I can spend some money on a better computer (K6-2 450?). Also, the composite input the Dragon's Lair monitor has will eliminate any "VGA-RGB" conversion issues.

: I plan on keeping Dragon's Lair functional, and the cabinet as original as possible (want to make a control panel that will "sit" over top of the original so it won't be damaged).

: Anyway, I'm really beside myself right now, because I can't believe I found a good cabinet for this price. I'm hoping I can get fix the laserdisk player pretty easily, if not....I'm not real sure what I'll do.

: Thanks,

: Dennis
