The reason the joy dosen't feel flimsy, is thats its a microswitch joystick. I was expecting Dpad like feet on the bottom of the joy, and to my surprise I find a microswitch joystick assmebly! Very cool, I'm going to just go ahead and use the joystick from it instead of buying a Hap one.
I have a pic on my website showing the inside of it, but it's not directly linked.
Once I've remade my site it should be easy to find.
