I got the keyboard for 11.99 w/ 11 rebate, so I didn't have a problem. However, after doing my mapping, I only came up with 50 keys, (cos' I was too afraid to connect ANYTHING running to a LED) (read my post above)
I am curious about this diode hack too. I mapped my diodes out manually (by tracing the connections with a marker) and just trying to simulate a SCR LCK keypress sent my computer into powersave oblivion. Better not try THAT again!
Sorry to say I haven't found enough info on LED hacking either, but I would love to know how (can't finish my cab without it)
