: It's not the apology that worries me... Myself, and many others, have seen long battles on this message board that you were involved in, and there tends to be an air of who's right and who's not in a lot of your posts. No offence meant by that, maybe that's just how you write.
I only recall one long battle, and as a result there seems to have been some changes around here for the better, but it might just be my imagination. It's pretty easy to pick out posts when you see there is misinformation from first-hand experience. Just like you and one other did with a statement I made. However, I didn't make up a fictitous "fact", I was merely a little behind in the times. Again, I apologize.
:I guess the point being that I would feel a bit more comfortable with a product you hope to market if you knew a little more about it up front. Or if there are basic things you aren't aware of, take the time to educate yourself and test the products fully before you market them, nothing wrong with that, and you will have a lot less tech support and happier customers. :)
Agreed, but when you do the research and believe that you know the latest scoop, there's no little sirens that go off when something changes. When you spend a month working on a project, and that project is based on what you know at the time you started it, it's sometimes difficult to stay up with current events.
: Arkanoid sucks... :P Okay, I suck at Arkanoid.
I guess you have to be an old time "breakout" fan to really appreciate that one. Man I feel old! :)
: How's the flat-pack arcade machines doing, btw? I haven't seen any updates to your site lately.
The project was at 98% and I had to go away on business (to Florida of all places) on the 8th of Sept. I was scheduled to leave back to NY, where I live, on the 12th. That was the day after the sh*tstorm started and I ended up driving home. Before the 11th, I was very into the project and was working mad hours on it. I don't know why but after my road trip home I started thinking differently about many things, and the project lost a lot of meaning to me. Maybe it was the fact that I was on an airplane 3 days before the 11th and so far away from home when I had heard that so many were murdered just because they went to work that day, or the fact that my boss (and friend) was on the same Boston to CA flight, but cheated death because he left 3 days earlier. A number of other personal priorities changed as well. The project has not died, but a part of me did. The spinner thing is something fresh that I was hoping would help bootstrap me back into the other project again.
Besides, my CNC is in an unheated building and it's gettin cold up here! :)
'Nuff to bring a tear to yer eye, huh? :)
