This is quite a while after you posted this message, but I've been looking into this a lot lately. If I already had my hands on the actlabs guns, and wanted to get them to work with the arcade monitor, I'd buy an optic gun pcb from Happs (~$35) and hack it onto the actlabs. The wires should be the same (ground, switch, power, and optical signal). My guess is that the only difference in reading the refresh rate or resolution on the monitor is translated by the optic pcb. Another question: will the actlabs guns still work if you manually change the refresh rate/ resolution of the computer monitor?
